  • Using multi-conductor wire, connect irrigation controller station wires to FlowPro corresponding zones on left side terminal labeled (FROM CONTROLLER)
  • Using one of the multi-conductor wires, connect to power supply on original irrigation controller and terminate to the 24vac terminal on the left side terminal strip.
  • Common wire from the existing irrigation controller will terminate in the COM terminal next to the 24vac terminal on the left side terminal strip.

Flow Sensor and Remote Master Valve Installation

  • Install wireless Flow sensor downstream from back flow protection device.
  • If adding a remote master valve,  install inline adjacent to flow sensor
  • Allow minimum 2’ of straight pipe on both sides of flow sensor/remote master valve installation to prevent turbulence in flow
  • Connect red, white and black wires from transceiver to flow sensor.
  • Make sure antenna and batteries are installed before placing transceiver.
  • Use 4” sewer and drain pipe to create a pedestal for transceiver mount.
  • Insert transceiver from the bottom of the pedestal and slide upwards until it is 18 inches above ground level for optimal radio transmission
  • Cut top of the pedestal leaving 2 inch clearance for transceiver antenna
  • Place 4 inch sewer and drain cap on top of the pedestal.  Do not glue cap.
